Fact File ADVERTISING FEATURE The new treatment room at The Apothecary Shop ensures you’re looked after inside and out. The holistic approach to wellbeing at the shop in Ledbury starts with a friendly welcome from owner Caroline Handley as well as Polly Wilson and Becky Taylor-Edwards. The Apothecary Shop opened its doors in March and as the shop has evolved they can now offer treatments. Polly Wilson, Manager, said: “We have reflexology, allergy testing, sugaring, Indian head massage and homeopathy available. We spend a lot of time listening to people and by using our expertise and qualifications we can offer advice on treatments, tonics, herbal remedies, skin care, even make up! inch The shop floor has a comprehensive range of household goods, skin and hair care with international brands sitting alongside local companies such as Herbfarmacy of Herefordshire and SkinnyDip from Malvern. There is a choice of organic and mineral make up and someone is always on hand if you need advice. The Apothecary Shop also supports local businesses. Caroline said: “The community area is somewhere to sit and relax. Fair-trade drinks can be ordered from IceBytes café opposite and you can enjoy it here whilst having a chat or browsing the literature. We also support local artists with cards, jewellery, paintings and glasswork on display and for sale. inch “We’re always looking to extend the range of treatments on offer so if you are a therapist pop in and see us. inch Products will be available to buy online within a couple of months.
